i). To add product categories click on the product category tab on the top of the page and then click on the ‘New Category’ button. You will then be prompted to add the new category information and submit. Repeat this until all your product categories have been added.
ii). Now that the product categories have been defined you can now add your different products to the system. Click on the products tab at the top of the page and the click on the new products tab.
iii). You will then be prompted to add the new product information in detail.
Here you will fill in the product name, code, color, size, cost price and retail price. Here is where you will also have to select the supplier and the category from the drop down menus. You will also be prompted to input the reorder level, this will be the number of remaining product units that you would like to recieve a prompt to reorder more of that stock. Here is where you will also input whethe the product is Vatable and whether there is a catering levy.
iv). You can also add a detailed description of the product and upload an image of the product here.
v). If you need to edit the product description you can easily do so by clicking on edit icon under the action column and make relevant changes to the product description.
Now that the product descriptions have been submitted you can now manage your inventory. This can be by way of adding inventory, adjusting inventory, or transfering inventory.
