BambaPOS allows you to recieve several payment options giving you and you customer more options and flexibility.
The Payment options available are:
1. Mobile Money i.e MPESA
2. Cash
3. Check
4. VISA – Card transactions
5. Loyalty points – The value of the points will be predetermined by the merchant
6. Post Dated check – The application requires you to input the date of the postdated check and the transaction appears as pending until the user inputs that the check has cleared.
7. Store Credit – Customers can pay using your select store credit service
8. Split Tender – BambaPOS gives you the flexibility to split tender and allow consumers to pay for a transaction through multiple channels.
BambaPOS allows you to receive several payment options giving you and you customer more options and flexibility. Once you have confirmed the items and total cost at checkout the next step is the payment. You can also process the customers loyalty at this stage. Click on the add customer button and this will activate the devices QR reader. The customer then presents their QR code on their phones loyalty application for scanning. Once the reader scans the customers QR code the relevant loyalty points will be added and the customers information updated.

The Payment options available are:
When you click pay you will be directed to the payment screen which lists the different tender types described above.
Select the tender type you would like to use e.g. cash, then input the amount you would like to pay. As mentioned you can split tender using the different payment options. The application will not process the payment if there is a balance. Once the full amout has been taken care of using the required tender type, click on pay and the sale will be processed and receipt printed out.
Note for MPESA you will be prompted to input the MPESA payment reference number the customer recieved after making the payment through their phone. The system will then verify that the payment was succesful and then process the sale.

Completing transaction
You are now ready to process the sale. The checkout screen allows you to apply discounts as per line item. Click on the individual item that you would like to apply a discount to and input the % discount you would like to apply. The discount function will be restricted to selected users to prevent abuse.
You can also adjust the tax per line item depending on whether the item is VAT exempt or not.
You can select different items by either clicking on the item image or by searching for the image through the search box. As you begin typing the letters of the item all the items with those letters typed will be narrowed down for ease of navigation.
You then select the item by clicking on the image and this immediately send the item to checkout if the item does not have variant. If the item has variants, i.e. different colours or different sizes then more images of the different variants will come up. You then click on the required image to send it to check out. Tapping on the image multiple times increases the quantity of the item being sent to check out.

Selecting items
You can delete the line items you have selected by swiping your finger across the line item from right to left. You can also delete items by manually inputting the number of individual items you would like to subtract from the line total.

Once all the required data has been added to the back-office all your stock should be updated and all your users should have profiles.

Select user profile to log in
To begin use of the BambaPOS app click on the BambaPOS app icon to launch the app. Once the app has been launched a screen with all the user profiles should appear. Select the desired user profile to access the application.
By now you should be on the BambaPOS homescreen which has your stock items listed with their images. You are now ready to begin selling.

BambaPOS allows you to to set and manage your loyalty program and track rewards down to the unique customer. The customer loyalty metrics you can track are:
Total visits
Last visit
Total points
Rewards
You can view this data on the loyalty transactions tab.

The dashboard allows you to set up rewards and define the point structure required to obtain the reward. To do this click on the loyalty rewards tab at the top of the page. Here you can edit or delete existing loyalty rewards or add additional rewards. To Edit or delete existing rewards click on the edit or the delete icon in the actions column for the specific line item you want to alter. This will bring up a text box as shown below for you to edit.

Once you have finished editing click the submit button for your changes to be applied.
To add a new loyalty program follow the steps below:
a). Click on the Loyalty rewards tab and then click on the ‘New reward’ button.
b). You will then be prompted to fill in a text box titled ‘Define Reward’. Here you will be required to fill in the reward name, the description, the rewards value, the number of points required to redeem the reward, and the status of the reward. Click on the submit button and your new reward will be applied.
Similar to the sales tab you can also track all payments recieved through BambaPOS. The Paymemt data available is brocken down by:
Store
Employee (Sales)
Till
Payment type
Amount
Date/Period
Status i.e. Approved/Declined/Pending
